I was chosen to be one of the approximately 1,600 members who attended the program. The program intended to provide a government simulation, with the three branches of government represented. I was assigned the role of Peter Heywood, a midshipman, in a simulation of the 1786 Mutiny on the Bounty as part of the Historical Committee.
I am the Treasurer of the RHS Model UN, where we attend several conferences each year, often held at local universities. We take on the roles of diplomats from various countries around the world and work with other students from schools from other states, and sometimes other countries, to negotiate and pass solutions to a variety of issues from Artificial Intelligence to Climate Change.
I am a member of the Mock Trial Team, representing the City of Revere. I acted as a witness through direct examinations and cross examinations. These trials are run by a judge, where we compete against schools from all over Massachusetts. Additionally, I visited the Moakley Courthouse to view and act as jurors for the trials held to test lawyers on their jobs. Met at the Revere Police Department to practice trials.
I am a passionate member of the Revere Speech and Debate Team, representing the City of Revere. I compete in an event called "Children's Literature", a performance event. I use vocal skills, facial expressions, and hand gestures to develop a narrator and character/s to provide a cohesive scene or storyline with a definite beginning, middle, and end. The performance also includes an introduction that cites the name of the piece and the author. I have presented my performance so well that, this year of 2025, I was a state finalist in my event.
The RPS Equity Advisory Board (EAB) meets once a month to review district-wide progress on issues related to equity, inclusion, and cross-systems alignment initiatives in order to develop and sustain policies and practices that are equitable and inclusive for our community. Through its five Equity Working Groups (EWGs), the Board ensures that our school system is aligned through the lens of anti-racist pedagogy, culturally responsive teaching, and restorative justice practices. The EWGs’ work centers on data and accountability, educator professional growth, student agency/restorative practice/SEL support, family engagement and community relations, and bias and sensitivity review. I am a member of the Student Agency/Restorative Justice/SEL Support Working Group
The Mission of the Revere Human Rights Commission is to promote human and civil rights and empower all people of Revere by ensuring that everyone, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized, have equitable opportunities, equal access, and are treated with dignity, respect, fairness, and justice.
I am a member of the Student Senate, representing the Revere High School (RHS). The purpose of the RHS Student Senate is to empower students to address and develop lasting solutions to issues facing the student body; uphold the ideals of citizenship, scholarship, and achievement; stimulate interest and participation in all student-owned academic and co-curricular activities; create a reputation of which we will be proud, and provide a means of cooperation between the students, staff, faculty, and community via effective communication and active representation.
As a member of the Class of 2028 Student Council, we are responsible for fundraising and running the major events for the class.
I am a studious member of the NUTRONS Robotics Team (team #125), representing the City of Revere. I participate in the farbicating, designing, and assembling of robots. My team competes with teams from all over the world. Last year, we won 2nd place in the FIRST World Championships Robotics Competition in Houston, TX (including 60 countries), and lost by a mere 1 point to the 1st place winners. We have come out on top in nearly every competition, and were recognized for our achievements and excellence both at Revere City Hall and the MA State House. Additionally, we advocated for the growth of STEM and robotics team by testifying at the MA State House.
I am a member of the Science Team, representing the City of Revere. We are apart of the North Shore Science League (NSSL), which stimulates interest and achievement in science, provides recognition for talented students, and fosters communication among the students and staff of North Shore high schools. We compete against other schools in events involving building, invention, engineering, lab techniques, and application of knowledge. All areas of science are included in events during the year.
The City of Revere honors its fallen heroes with a solemn and respectful Memorial Day Program annually in the month of May at the American Legion Lawn located at 249 Broadway, beside Revere City Hall. The event features a series of tributes and ceremonies aimed at remembering and honoring those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. One event includes the reading of the governor's proclamation. Out of the whole entire Revere Public Schools District, throughout the six elementary schools, three middle schools, and one high school, I had been selected to give Governor Maura T. Healey's, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts's, Memorial Day Proclamation to our city.
Participated as a college-student member in the 6th Annual Juvenile Justice Youth Symposium at Suffolk University Law School held by the District Attorney's Office. I learned about the juvenile court system and met with many community leaders, including the District Attorney, former Juvenile Judge Harris along with many other Juvenile Judges, Executive Director of Citizens for Juvenile Justice Leon Smith, and many others.
Participated as the youngest member, an eighth grader, of the first Youth Advisory Council (YAC) of the Suffolk Country District Attorney's Office composed of high school students. The mission of the council is to explore issues of juvenile justice and outreach, with the primary goal of building community while improving the health and safety of county youth. We provided general advice to the DA’s office on juvenile crime issues, studied the role of the SCDAO in preventing crime, positively impacted the safety and health of young Suffolk County residents, addressed teen gun use, gang violence, bullying, and online safety, and exposed young people to careers in law enforcement, the judicial system, and public service all while expanding our public speaking, critical thinking, and advocacy skills.
I am a member of the Swimming Team, representing the City of Revere. I compete against multiple teams in Massachusetts, and in the Greater Boston League.
I am a member of the Math Team, representing the City of Revere. I compete in competitions to solve complex math problems against schools from all across Massachusetts.
Theater Academy/Club Revere, MA
Since the first year Theater Academy/Club has launched in the school year of 2021-2022, I had been there from the start as an Actor. As our first play, to me and Theater Academy/Club at my school, we were doing our first theater production, which was called Charlotte's Web, which is also a book and and a movie, I was Lurvy, the farmhand of a farm owner named Zuckerman. In the second theater production at my school in the school year of 2022-2023, I was the King and Humpty Dumpty in the play Alice in Wonderland. After that, in the school year of 2023-2024, my school hosted two plays: The Day the Internet Died, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In the Day the Internet Died, I played two roles: Herbert (a business man), and Johnathan ( a customer). Finally, in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I was Granda Joe (Charlie's Grandfather).
